Crimson Lishan
Floating Leaves Tea
Story
This high mountain tea from Lishan is processed like a black tea, but has the complexity and delicacy of oolong. When we first tried this tea we were surprised by how soft and nuanced it is for a black tea.
Description
This Spring harvest version of Crimson Lishan has bigger, fluffier leaves than the last crop. The broth is also 'fluffier', with a easygoing fragrance that leans toward the bright side for black tea, and soft, almost buttery texture. The flavor is anchored in an herbal sweetness with notes of dried fruit.
