This Hehuan Shan high mountain oolong was harvested from a garden at about 1800 meters elevation. Hehuan Shan is geographically near Lishan, and sometimes included in the category of Lishan tea.
This tea reaches out with an elegant floral and buttery aroma with bright citrus notes. Lean and fragrant, refreshing and energizing. This tea does what we hope to taste from a good high mountain oolong. Finish is long lasting and leaves lots of sweet aromas evaporating off the palate.
I've said it before, this garden produces a very classical Taiwanese high mountain feel.
