1990s Din Xin

The dry leaves of this Din Xin Puer carry an aroma of sweet wood. Its rinsed leaves have a more complex woody scent mixed with a slight herbal note. Its tea broth is smooth and has a nice stimulating feeling in the mouth. The aftertaste is fruity and long lasting. We broke up a cake and have been storing it in a raw clay jar, and it seems to be aging really well.

We chose this tea because it has already developed into a 'mature' puer, so the aging potential is more obvious than a young tea. This tea is ready to drink, and is an excellent choice for further aging.
