2022 Spring Lishan Shan High Mountain
Floating Leaves Tea
Story
This Lishan high mountain oolong was harvested from a garden at about 1800 meters elevation. The high altitude brings out more complexity, so this tea has some of the most brilliant notes of all our oolong teas. In Lishan, we are looking for a tea with floral and citrus notes and a rich buttery body.
Description
If you take a close look at these leaves, you'll notice it is a young leaf picking. This means they picked earlier and included more tender buds offering a bright, Spring fragrance of flowers, young fruit and citrus. Mouthfeel is juicy-buttery and stimulating.
Because of the relatively high young bud content, less leaves are needed to produce a full tasting cup of tea.
Big, bold, brilliant fragrance; flavor blast kind of a tea.
