This will be a very educational series of tea classes! We'll compare lots of different oolong cultivars -or- varietals and talk about their history, signature characteristics and place in modern Taiwanese tea production.
For this installment, we'll explore "New World" cultivars, by which I mean each of the cultivars was bred in Taiwan. Old World cultivars, by contrast, are the classic tea plants that were imported from Fujian and raised in Taiwan ever since.
Can't wait to see you there and explore this fascinating and factual facet of Taiwan Tea ;)
