Story

A new tea has ascended the Crimson throne. This Crimson SLX, simply put, is red tea made from Shan Lin Xi High Mountain Oolong material, rolled in open leaf style. When we say Crimson, we are talking about a red tea made from oolong material, with twisted leaves and a rich, red broth.

Description

Long, spindly black leaves offer up thick amber broth with a delicate herbal sweetness and rich red berry notes. Fragrance is complex, interweaving and fine; an arabesque pattern of fruit, spices and floral notes. Broth is oily and creamy, coating the whole mouth and throat with sweet aftertaste and long lingering aroma.

An ornate, dreamy red tea with high mountain complexity.

This reminds us of the often asked after Crimson Lishan from a few years ago. Lots of aroma, lots of notes and lots of sweetness.
