2018 Winter Alishan High MountainFloating Leaves Tea
Alishan was the first alpine region in Taiwan to begin growing tea on a large scale. We like to find Alishan oolongs with lots of beautiful floral notes. The tea garden that we work with is located about 1200 meters high in Zhangshu Hu.
This tea is bright and floral, with a lighter broth compared to the other high mountain oolongs in the line up. As the broth hits the palate, there is a melty, buttery texture, and the aftertaste lingers for a long time. If you are going for naturally floral tea when you drink high mountain oolong, this is your tea.
