Intense aroma, thick broth, small harvest, huge gratitude. The theme runs through our Spring lineup this year due to dry weather in Taiwan. This year's harvest really allowed Mr. Wu's immaculate technique to shine. It has notes that remind us of the queen of oolong, old bush Phoenix Dan Cong.
The nose reveals a gorgeous bouquet, filled with flowers and fruits. Broth is smooth and concentrated with a distinct mineral feel. Quite powerful and dramatic, the aftertaste comes from a billowing fragrance inside the mouth and throat coating aromatic oils. And it just lingers, and lingers and lingers...
