Sunburst High Mountain Oolong
Harvested from an unsprayed, high elevation tea garden in Jianshi Shan, Hsinchu County. The same mountain as our Diva High Mountain comes from, and some of the full figured fruitiness reminds us of that tea. We've gently baked the tea on our bamboo roasters to give it more definition without making it roasty or heavy.
The aroma is full of stone fruit and tropical fruit notes, along with buttery pastry in the base. The working name foe this tea was 'peach pie' but it turned out so light footed and brilliant that it reminds us of more of a burst of sunlight coming out over the hillside. Broth is medium-light with a nice juiciness, and long lingering aftertaste.
This tea sold out at the NW Tea Festival in the first few hours! Probably due to it's happy fruity-floral aroma and sweet taste. This is a super fun tea.
