Tea Roasting Hiatus

Regrettably, we have had to pause our roasting operation here in Seattle. It is especially difficult to do because we love it so much and we love seeing that the teas we make give people joy. However, we are not currently able to roast tea in a way that is ok for our health. Both Shiuwen and I started having increasing health issues and we slowly realized it was worsended by the tea roasting. We are now recovering slowly.

It should be a relatively simple problem to fix, but it will take us some time to accomplish that goal. In the meantime, we will be out of our own roasted oolong tea. 

We are doing our best to source some roasted oolong from some friends in Taiwan who roast, and we will send a newsletter announcement if/when we find something that we like. We are very sorry to all the people who enjoy our roasted oolongs so much. We hope we can solve this problem quickly and get back to doing what we love.
